# Meet the maker: an artist feature brief

An invitation to show your work and how you make it, in your own words.

## Your choices

- What name and pronouns, if any, should appear?
- One or two sentences about your practice. No invented biography.
- One to three works you want people to experience, with titles and links.
- For images or recordings: who created them, who owns them, and what display permission is granted?
- Which social or portfolio links should appear?
- What should stay private?

## The conversation

1. What are you making right now?
2. What does a finished work look like in your practice?
3. Show us an early attempt and a later one. What changed?
4. What do you repeat, and what do you deliberately vary?
5. What did your most recent work teach you?
6. Who or what has influenced you? Give them credit.
7. What kind of feedback helps you? What kind doesn't?
8. What is the next small thing you want to make?

## Before a feature goes live

The artist reviews and approves their name, bio, wording, work selections, links and credits. All assets need permission. Membership, output totals, endorsements and future participation must never be assumed.

This is a downloadable brief, not a submission form. There is no public upload or shared profile system in the first version of 1000 Pots.
