# 1000 Pots: the workshop charter

Make. Finish. Reflect. Repeat.

A pot is a small complete work in your medium. A thousand is a direction, not a deadline. Finishing, releasing and receiving a response are different milestones.

## The practice

1. Choose one work and a realistic finish date.
2. Write what finished means before starting.
3. Complete the smallest version that keeps its central idea.
4. Record one specific lesson.
5. After every seven finished works, select what deserves more attention.

## The circle we are building

Bring work, not just intentions. Ask for the kind of feedback you need. Offer useful observations before prescriptions. Credit your influences and collaborators. A creative scene grows when its people learn from one another.

A suggested weekly check-in:

- What did you finish? Share a work link only if you want to.
- What changed while making it?
- What did you learn?
- What will you make next, and by when?
- What specific help would move it forward?

## Artist features

Features show the maker's work, process, influences and practice. The maker chooses the name, bio, work and links. They approve the final page and provide permission to show each asset. No one becomes a member or collaborator just because someone mentions them.

## A good scene

Feedback is specific, generous and invited. We do not rank people's worth by output counts or social metrics. Rest, revision and changing direction belong to the practice. Songs, essays, products and conversations can inspire each other without every idea becoming four things.

## Today's version

The personal workbench works in your browser. It does not create an account, upload your work, publish a profile or notify other people. Shared profiles, check-ins and reviewed artist features are the next stage. Export your practice to keep a backup.
